Abstract

This study investigates the impact of 720-degree performance appraisal systems on organizational productivity within IT companies in Bangalore, India. Utilizing a sample size of 900 respondents from companies operating at CMM Level 3 and above, the research aims to determine whether the broader feedback mechanisms, inclusive of both internal and external stakeholder perspectives, enhance organizational productivity. The study employs an ANOVA test to analyze the data, comparing groups exposed to 720-degree feedback with those that are not. Preliminary results suggest a potential positive correlation between the implementation of comprehensive feedback systems and improved productivity metrics. This research contributes to the understanding of performance appraisal systems, offering insights into their efficacy in promoting a culture of continuous improvement and strategic alignment in a highly competitive sector.
