Abstract

In addition to other auxiliary factors, this study suggests a novel modified class of population mean of main variables using CV of auxiliary variable. Combining ratio and exponential estimators introduces the proposed estimator. As a result, the members of the suggested estimatorinclude the ratio, exponential ratio estimators. The bias and Mean Squared Error (MSE) of the proposed estimator are determined for order one approximation. The optimal values of the characterizing constants of the suggested estimatorare found. The minimum MSE of the novelproposed estimator is achieved for optimal values of the characterizing constants. Efficiency conditions are set against competing estimators, and the proposed estimator is evaluated against otherestimators of the population mean.A real data set on sugarcane production from the Pihani Block of Hardoi District in Uttar Pradesh State, India, is used to evaluate these efficiency conditions. The findings demonstrate that, among the competing estimators, the introduced estimator of population mean is the most effective.
