Socio-economic changes and increased global competitiveness have made it difficult for employees to balance personal and professional life, leading to job dissatisfaction. In India's developing banking industry, the entry of private and foreign banks has brought significant changes. Bank efficiency relies on employee quality, yet banking employees face challenges in meeting customer needs, work targets, deadlines, and high productivity expectations, which increase job pressure. This stress affects their ability to balance work and family life, leading to a noticeable work-life imbalance in the industry. Achieving work-life balance reduces friction between professional and personal life and is crucial for organizational success, which depends on employee performance influenced by mental, physical, and social factors.
