The traditional lecture-based approach to legal education is no longer sufficient to prepare law students for the complexities of modern legal practice. Experiential learning, which integrates practical experience with theoretical knowledge, has emerged as a vital component of legal education. This paper argues that experiential learning is essential for developing critical skills, such as problem-solving, communication, and teamwork, and for fostering social responsibility and professionalism among law students. We examine the benefits and challenges of implementing experiential learning in legal education, including curriculum integration, faculty training, and assessment methods. We also explore future directions for experiential learning, including technology-enhanced learning, interdisciplinary collaborations, and global perspectives. By incorporating experiential learning into legal education, law schools can better prepare students for the changing horizons of the legal profession.
